retainer
A Retainer is like a monthly ‘subscription’ priced on your anticipated need for legal support. After we discuss your needs, we will develop a proposal for you with different options. Most of our clients engage us on a retainer basis. This is our favourite way to work together, because it means we can fully immerse ourselves in your business; and you sleep at night knowing you get priority service and can pick our brains at any time.
fixed-pricing
Fixed pricing means agreed up-front pricing. No surprises. You’re billed what we quoted you.
billable hours
Billable hours means billing based on time (namely hours). That’s right everyone time you ring, email or visit. And no, we don’t charge that way (like other traditional law firms). We charge fixed-pricing or under a retainer (see above). There are no hidden fees.
BAU legals
BAU legals a.k.a ‘business as usual’ legals are your day-to-day legal needs, based on your operations. Think, reviewing a service agreement, preparing an employment contract, or picking our brain about a staffing issue.
